Wonder where that came from =)
Anywho,
Classes started today for my spring semester, so I thought it would be a nice time to start some other new trends in my life. This blog is just one of many new endeavors I am attempting. I guess I'll just be writing about things I like, possibly occasionally about things going on in my personal life, and anything else that I feel like sharing with the online world.
But first, an introduction, because I'm new to blogging and whenever you're new somewhere, you need to properly introduce yourself.
My name is Meg. I'm 18 years old, I'll be turning 19 in April. I live in Massachusetts and have lived here my whole life. I grew up north of Boston and now I'm at college in Western MA.
As previously mentioned, I just started my second semester of my first year of college. It's fun, I'm enjoying myself. I don't know what I want to major in, however. Everything seems really interesting, but nothing has really stood out or caught my attention yet. So far I've taken or am taking courses in Latin, Logic, Anthro, Astronomy, History, Computer Science, and this strange but entertaining first-year seminar about Lions in science and science fiction.
I have many obsessions or fixations, and I'm always finding something new to devour, be it a tv show, a novel, a musician or band, a comedian, or something or someone online. That's how I spend most of my free time.
My non-free time is spent in school, obviously, and also working (I'm a research assistant for an education professor at school). Last semester I had a weekly radio show on my college's station, but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep that up. I also play the flute and piccolo.
So that's the basics. I hopefully won't be delving into the boring details of my IRL life too much, but instead focusing on other things interesting, amusing, or important to me.
